Job Title: Reporting / Data Analyst (Operational Forecasting)

Location: Toronto, Waterloo, or Montreal (Hybrid – approx. 2x/month onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months (extension and/or conversion possible)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hrs/week

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong forecasting and workforce management expertise to support operational planning and decision-making. The role focuses on building models, analyzing business data, and creating forecasts to determine optimal staffing levels across multiple business units. This position requires analytical rigor, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain forecasting and capacity models to support operational planning.
Collect, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, including time series and business process data.
Apply statistical and simulation-based forecasting techniques.
Translate forecast outputs into staffing and resourcing recommendations.
Build visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to senior leaders.
Support continuous improvement through data-driven recommendations.
Must-Have Skills

5+ years’ experience in data analysis with focus on forecasting/predictive modeling.
Workforce Management (WFM) experience (e.g., IEX, Genesys).
Proficiency in data manipulation and modeling (Python, SQL, Excel).
Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AWS Sagemaker.
Background in call center data, queuing theory, or operations research.
Experience working with large relational databases.
Bilingual (French/English) required only for Quebec-based candidates.
