Payroll QA Test Specialist – SAP Canadian Payroll (Contract)
📍 Hybrid – Toronto, ON (2x/week on-site )
🕒 8-Month Contract | Potential Extension or Full-Time Conversion

CorGTA, in partnership with one of Canada’s leading financial institutions, is hiring a Payroll QA Test Specialist for a high-impact project within their Global HR Technology group.
This role is ideal for an experienced QA professional with deep SAP Canadian Payroll expertise, who thrives in collaborative enterprise environments and understands both the technical and functional nuances of payroll testing.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:
Lead and execute test planning, scripting, and execution for HR/payroll system enhancements
Work hands-on with SAP HCM/HR, validating payroll functionality including PA30, PA40, Infotypes, and finance integrations
Analyze test results, resolve defects, and ensure seamless end-to-end payroll processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, HR stakeholders, and QA teams
Prepare comprehensive test documentation and provide recommendations on production releases
✅ Must-Have Experience:
5+ years in QA/QAT roles with HR technology systems
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM
Deep expertise in SAP Canadian Payroll, including year-end processing and compliance
Strong understanding of integration between payroll and financial postings
Demonstrated ability to write clear test plans, cases, and result reports
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
🌟 Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
Familiarity with Agile & Waterfall methodologies
Working knowledge of Jira and SQL
SAP Payroll Certification or SAP EC Certification a strong asset

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM EST (37.5 hrs/week)
Hybrid Model: In-office Mondays & Thursdays (Downtown Toronto)
