🔍 What You’ll Work On
You’ll be working in a modern serverless cloud stack with TypeScript everywhere — from frontend to backend to infrastructure-as-code. Depending on the squad you join, your backend/frontend split may vary slightly:
Lifecycle Squad: 80% backend / 20% frontend
Workflow Squad: 70% backend / 30% frontend
Network Squad: 60% backend / 40% frontend
Across all squads, you’ll:
Build and ship robust, modern GraphQL APIs
Contribute to intuitive, well-designed UI with React
Integrate with both legacy telecom systems and bleeding-edge tools
Collaborate with top engineers in a startup environment where your code ships fast and your work has visible impact
Architect scalable, reliable systems using Node.js, SQL, AWS, and DevOps best practices
✅ What We’re Looking For
Must-haves:
5+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience
Strong with Node.js and backend engineering
Solid SQL database experience
Cloud-native mindset; experience with AWS and DevOps tools
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment (we are not looking for enterprise engineers)
Collaborative, product-focused, and detail-oriented
Nice-to-haves:
GraphQL API development
React / frontend experience
Functional programming knowledge
Networking and telecom familiarity
Personal or open-source projects that show off your engineering chops
📍 Location
We are fully remote within Canada, but are prioritizing candidates located in:
Halifax and the Maritimes
Toronto and surrounding areas
