Overview
We are seeking a Junior-Intermediate Risk Analyst to support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial crime prevention activities. The analyst will perform due diligence reviews on customer profiles, assess potential anomalies, and provide support in investigations to ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
Review customer transactions and profiles to identify anomalies or high-risk activity.
Conduct case adjudication and analysis, including recommendations for escalations (e.g., de-marketing or account freezes).
Gather data and evidence to support AML, Sanctions, or Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption (ABAC) investigations.
Prioritize and manage investigation requests efficiently.
Research and apply new methodologies for analyzing financial crime risks.
Partner with internal teams to support regulatory and compliance objectives.
Must-Have Qualifications
1–2 years of relevant experience (AML, fraud, risk analysis, or related).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Previous AML, KYC, or fraud investigation experience.
Financial services/banking industry exposure.
Relevant certifications (CSCS, ACAMS) considered an asset.
