Job Title: IT Security Analyst – Level 5

Location: Hybrid – 888 Birchmount Road, Scarborough (2 days/week). Candidates in Ottawa may also be considered (onsite 2 days/week).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to join the Threat Monitoring & Response team within Cybersecurity Operations. This team is responsible for monitoring, detecting, and investigating cybersecurity threats, with a focus on managing critical third-party risk events and coordinating the organization’s response to global cybersecurity incidents.

Responsibilities

Manage third-party cybersecurity incident response and refine playbooks.
Monitor global threat intelligence notifications and coordinate responses.
Bridge communication between technical teams and business leadership.
Compile and contextualize investigative data for business reporting.
Provide guidance on best practices for incident response.
Lead projects that provide security advice across multiple domains (e.g., Security Engineering, IAM, Security Management).
Must-Have Skills

10+ years’ IT experience.
3+ years’ hands-on cybersecurity experience in threat management.
3+ years’ incident management experience.
3+ years’ experience producing reports and data visualizations (Power BI or similar).
Nice-to-Have Skills

Bilingual in Spanish.
Experience with red team, SOC operations, vulnerability assessments, or compliance consulting.
Knowledge of TTP frameworks and advanced threat defense strategies.
Experience with SIEM/NGFW solutions.
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC).

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has strong incident response experience, can lead incident calls with senior stakeholders, and is bilingual in Spanish.
