We’re Hiring: ETL Tester – Contract Role (Remote, Canada) 🇨🇦

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is looking for a skilled ETL Tester (SDET) to join our team on a contract basis. This is a remote opportunity open only to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents (PR), and Open Work Permit (OWP) holders.

🔍 Position Summary:
As an SDET, you’ll ensure the quality and reliability of ETL processes and data integration workflows. You’ll design and implement automated tests, validate data transformation and migration, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data quality issues.

💼 Minimum Qualifications:
✔️ 8+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in ETL testing
✔️ Strong SQL & scripting skills
✔️ Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica), AWS S3, Redshift and Big Data ecosystems, Python and Pyspark
✔️ Familiarity with DBT or similar tools is a plus
✔️ Agile testing experience and excellent communication skills

Creating test strategies and frameworks
Performing regression testing and root cause analysis
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Mentoring junior testers
