About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial vision and execution. This is a high-impact role for a forward-thinking financial executive who can drive growth, optimize capital structure, and ensure operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to define and execute long-term financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
Financial Oversight: Direct all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, maintaining rigorous compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Capital & Growth: Lead capital-raising initiatives, optimize funding strategies, and evaluate M&A opportunities to support expansion.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure robust financial controls, risk management frameworks, and adherence to cross-border tax and reporting requirements.
Operational Excellence: Streamline financial systems, processes, and team leadership to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior roles within financial services, asset management, or related industries.
Expertise in North American financial operations, including multi-jurisdictional compliance (US GAAP experience required).
Demonstrated success in capital markets, fundraising, and/or corporate development (M&A, investor relations).
Strong background in trust accounting, multi-entity structures, and complex reconciliations.
Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
CPA, MBA, or equivalent designation preferred.
