Position: Marketing Communications Specialist
Type: 2 month Contract with potential for extension
Location: Montreal/In office (4 days)

Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a legal services company located in Toronto, ON. We are looking to hire a Marketing Communications Specialist to join their team on a contract basis of 2 months, which has the possibility of extension/ permanent. This candidate will be working from their Toronto Office on a full time basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
Translate strategic marketing plans into fully executed campaigns in collaboration with the Manager and creative teams.
Produce, coordinate and manage the creation of campaign assets, collateral and multimedia content.
Oversee production workflows to ensure campaigns launch smoothly and on schedule.
Act as a liaison between business development, practice groups and creative teams to align deliverables with campaign objectives.
Work with lawyers to facilitate the publication of firm blogs, including managing approvals, copyediting, staging in the web platform (Sitecore-based), applying appropriate tagging and overseeing publication and amplification.
Create and schedule engaging, high-quality social media content that promotes thought leadership, firm news and event campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Certification in digital marketing, content strategy, or social media management is a plus
3–5 years of experience in marketing campaign execution, preferably in a professional services or B2B environment
Proven experience managing cross-functional marketing projects from concept to launch
Familiarity with legal or corporate environments is an asset
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
Excellent copyediting and proofreading abilities with attention to tone and detail
Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable marketing deliverables
Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with lawyers, business development teams, and creative professionals
Ability to produce compelling marketing collateral and multimedia content aligned with brand standards
Strong understanding of campaign objectives and how to tailor content for different audiences
Experience creating thought leadership and event-driven content for social media
Demonstrated ability to manage approvals and publication workflows efficiently
Skilled at coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment and timely delivery
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
