Role: Database Engineering NoSQL(Cassandra)
Toronto, ON
Contract role

Must haves:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a NoSQL Database Administrator, specifically with Cassandra.
• In-depth knowledge of NoSQL database design, operation, and implementation best practices.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL and NoSQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Certification in Cassandra (DataStax Certified Administrator) is a plus.

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:
• College / University with emphasis on computer science and business or equivalent work experience.
• IT Industry accreditions not required, but will be considered along with experience

Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• Financial Services IT experience
• Broad experience with IP networking concepts – routers, firewalls, etc
• Teamwork – strong relationships with developers and business analysts, architecture & operations
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Effective time management skills and ability to work under deadlines and operational pressures
