About the Role

The Digital Engineering Architect plays a pivotal role in defining and delivering the digital engineering vision across the full asset lifecycle. Responsibilities include architecting, integrating, and optimizing technologies that support engineering design, construction, handover, and operations. Collaboration with engineering, IT, project management, and EPC partners supports innovation and efficiency aligned with the client’s Strategic Transformation Roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain enterprise architecture for digital engineering by integrating PLM, CAD, BIM, GIS, IoT, digital twins, and advanced analytics.
Design and implement engineering platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, SAP PLM, Autodesk, Bentley, Aveva, Hexagon, and ESRI to support seamless data management and lifecycle traceability.
Define data models, standards, and integration patterns to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
Oversee adoption of digital twins, 3D/4D visualization, IoT-enabled monitoring, and MBSE.
Translate business and engineering needs into digital solutions to enhance delivery, asset management, and compliance.
Ensure alignment with governance, cybersecurity, and data standards.
Engage with project teams to deliver agile solutions, facilitate training, and support continuous improvement.
Participate in forums, lead mentoring, and support the development of a future-ready workforce.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Over 10 years of experience in digital engineering or systems architecture, including 5 years in a lead or architect role.
Extensive knowledge of BIM, PLM, CAD, GIS, IoT, and digital twin technologies.
Proficiency in platforms including SAP PLM, Autodesk, Bentley, and ESRI.
Understanding of data governance and regulatory compliance.
Certifications in PMP, Agile, TOGAF, PLM, or BIM are assets.
