Senior Java Developer

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Java Developer – Capital Markets to join their team on a contract basis. Strong experience in Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange is the preference here. This position will be onsite 2-3 times per week at their downtown Toronto location.

*Recent Capital Markets Celer and/or ION Wallstreet will be highly preferred.*

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years core Java Development (version 8.0 or above)
2) 10+ years’ experience with database development using SQL
3) 10+ years’ experience with shell scripting working in a Unix/Linux environment
3) 5+ years Spring Boot experience
4) 3+ years’ experience with front end GUI development (JavaScript/Angular)

Nice-To-Have Skills:
– Recent Capital Markets Celer and/or ION Wallstreet experience is a plus and will be prioritized
– KX kdb+ experience will be prioritized
