Snowflake/Data Engineer (Python + SQL)

We’re Hiring: Snowflake/Data Engineer (Python + SQL)
📍 Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) | 📅 Type: Contract
🧠 Experience: 5+ Years in Snowflake Development

🔧 Must-Have Technical Skills:
Expertise in Snowflake, Python, and SQL
Strong experience with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, data governance, encryption & masking, integration with Active Directory
Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, and data ingestion techniques: Snowpipe, Glue, Copy Into
Solid background in Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and ETL/CDC pipelines
Proven experience designing DWH models and building metadata-driven pipelines
Experience with customer experience layers, analytical algorithms, and performance design
Familiarity with Agile & DevOps practices for cloud-based deployment

🎯 Ideal Candidate Brings:
5+ years of professional experience in Snowflake and data engineering
Previous work with the Indian finance industry is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
