🛠️ Your Role:
📌 Architect and lead the build of scalable, secure IT infrastructure
📌Collaborate with network and cloud architects on an integrated design
📌Set hardware standards and data center support models
📌Forecast infrastructure needs and associated costs
📌Assist in rack layouts, cooling, and power models for data centers
📌Drive automation using Terraform
📌Present infrastructure decisions to both technical and financial stakeholders.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

📌7+ years in datacenters installation and operations (servers, storage, networking)
📌5+ years building secure on-prem hardware clusters
📌Experience with enterprise networks (switches, firewalls, monitoring)
📌Cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
KVM Hypervisor, Linux/Unix scripting, and IAM tools (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD)

💡 Preferred Skills:
📌Experience with high-availability networks and fault-tolerant systems
📌Familiar with RedHat, Ubuntu, and storage tech (iSCSI, NFS)
Kubernetes and DCIM tools a plus.

🎓 Qualifications:
📌Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
📌Must be local to Ottawa or willing to relocate
📌Willingness to be onsite 4–5 days/week
📌Limited travel to regional data center sites (<10%).
