Role:- Disability Case Manager
Location- Vancouver (BC), Edmonton (AB), Calgary (AB)
Contract length: 6 months with high possibility to transition into full-time permanent role.

Must have skills?
Emotional intelligence, analytical skills. Must have a minimum of 2 years Case Management experience re: STD/LTD etc. with similar insurance companies
What are the main 3-5 technologies of the resource? N/A, will be trained on Sun Life systems, but need strong case management experience.
How many years of experiences are you looking for? 2+ years. Case managers from Canada Life, Manulife, Blue Cross, Desjardin, (potentially WCB as entitlement officer, or adjudicators. These are lower-level roles but would be considered)
Critical Skills or Must Haves? adequate experience in Disability adjudication and case management.
Have you seen resumes from any other resources for this role? Yes, TA team is recruiting internally as well but they need support.
Is there a possibility for extension in this role or potential for permanent hire? Yes – starting on contract, but there is potential to convert to an FTE for the right candidates
Is it a requirement that candidates need to be bilingual? No, but bilingual is welcome
Daily Work hours (e.g. 9 am – 5 pm): likely working a standard 9-5pm – PST time zone
Do you require the ERC (Enhanced Reliability Clearance)? No
Does this role require privileged system access provision through CyberArk? No

What Sets You Apart

Frontline healthcare experience (e.g., nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, mental health support)
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Kinesiology or Business
10+ years of professional experience, ideally in healthcare or case management
Demonstrated strength in these key skills:

– Rehabilitation Techniques
– Analytical Skills
– Critical Thinking

What You Need to Succeed

Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is NOT required, but nice to have in order to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
