JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for Embedded Software Engineers in test to join a Major Canadian Aerospace company in the greater Montreal Area. The successful candidate should have 5 years total experience, 3 of which in embedded software environment. The successful candidate should have strong python skills developing test scripts and test cases. Superior communication and teamwork skills are required. Please note this role is likely converting to full-time after the end of the contract. We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. As part of the requirements for this role, candidates must obtain CGP clearance. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5 years of embedded software experience

Minimum 3 years in testing

Minimum 2 years strong python experience

Previous experience in Micro controller coding at bit level, bit protocols such as Cavas, Airlink, TCPIP, spacebar

Previous experience working with git, Jira, Agile, confluence

NICE TO HAVE

Previous exposure to Sonarcube and vectorcast for unit testing would be considered an asset Strong bilingual FR/EN skills are preferred

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
