Senior Quality Assurance Consultant (C3 Siebel CRM)
REMOTE, Ottawa, Ontario, (Canada only)
Note: must be able and willing to undergo a Canadian Federal Government security clearance. Must have over 5 PR years in Canada, or Canadian Citizen
1-year’s contract

Provide senior quality assurance services to support enterprise-level initiatives. The consultant will work with cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and the Scrum Master to ensure quality standards are upheld through all phases of software development. This includes test planning, execution, and support for defect resolution.

Primary Responsibilities
●           Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test cases
●           Execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts according to the system test plan and project schedule, and end-to-end business processes
●           Document test results, log bugs, and help in troubleshooting analysis with developers or business leads
●           Conduct system, integration, regression, and acceptance testing
●           Collaborate with developers, BAs, and other stakeholders to validate system functionality
●           Ensure thorough test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements
●           Use Azure DevOps to manage test artifacts, track bugs, and maintain traceability
●           Report testing progress using approved status reporting mechanisms and templates on a determined frequency.

Specific Project/Platform Requirements
This engagement primarily supports the Mainframe Retirement initiative. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the stability and functionality of impacted systems, particularly the C3 (Siebel CRM) and UCM (Universal Content Management) platforms. The role requires strong knowledge of QA best practices in the context of legacy system transitions, with a focus on manual testing processes.
Skills
Top Skills Required: MUST HAVE skills:

●           Familiarity with C3 (Siebel CRM) or UCM (Universal Customer Master)
●           5-7 years of experience in Testing or QA activities
●           Strong understanding of enterprise QA practices and system integration testing
●           Experience using Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking

Other Skills Required:
●           Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project management software
●           Strong analytical and SQL/data validation skills
●           Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Assets:
●           QA certifications such as ISTQB
●           Experience in large-scale technology transformation projects
