Financial Officer – Government-Funded Programs
📌 Downtown Toronto | Hybrid (3 days/week)
💼 4 Weeks Vacation
Our client is seeking a Financial Officer to support financial operations for government-funded programs. This role involves monthly financial reporting, budget analysis, and preparing quarterly cash flow submissions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Monthly financial reporting for federal programs
✅ Quarterly cash flow forecasting & submissions
✅ Budget vs. actuals analysis
✅ Contract & staffing allocation review
✅ Government reporting
✅ Maintain tracking spreadsheets & ad hoc reports
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Degree in Accounting or Business
✔️ 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
✔️ Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
✔️ Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
✔️ Detail-oriented and confident with numbers
📎 Bonus: Experience in federal government or non-profit sectors
