Jr. Pricing Analyst/Investments

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Jr. Pricing Analyst/Investments who will focus on Retail Investments, managing product & pricing for Term Investments (Guaranteed Investment Certificates).

Responsibilities:

Monitoring pricing/product exception request inbox
Evaluate requests for rate or price negotiations.
Product management, such as calculating penalty and interest for early redemption of GICs, approving more complex cases of backdating, cancellation and amendments.
Calculate the interest implications of the aforementioned transactions, and act on behalf of the business to judiciously provide approval to proceed with exceptions.
Support team in some daily/monthly reporting needs and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
Analyzes competitor pricing, assesses market share and margins, and tracks customer engagement to gain a complete picture of effective pricing strategies for product offerings and determine ideal target prices
Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skill Set:

Post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of experience as a Pricing analyst or in other analytical role
Beginner to intermediate Excel skills
Analysis/problem-solving background
Ability to work with grey areas/ambiguity
