📋 Role Details:
📍 Location: Remote (must be in Canada), with possible onsite meetings in Saskatchewan.
📅 Contract Term: July 2, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (8 months, with possible 1-year extension).

💼 Description:
🛠️ Data Pipeline Development: Design and build infrastructure for optimal ETL processes using Informatica, SQL, SSIS, API, and other technologies.
📊 Database Architecture: Architect relational and multi-dimensional databases (star/snowflake schemas, SCD, Fact/Cube) within a provincial data platform.
⚙️ Process Optimization: Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign pipelines for scalability.
📈 Analytics Tools: Build tools to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition and operational efficiencies.
🔧 ETL Maintenance: Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and monitor ETL environments, including backup and recovery.
📜 Compliance & Mentorship: Ensure data compliance with agreements and legislation, and mentor junior data management resources.

✅ Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

🌟 Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Informatica (Power Centre, Integration Services, Workflow Manager, IDMC, TDM).
Expert knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL, R, Python, Unix/Linux/Windows, Shell Scripting, APIs, and algorithms/data structures.
Extensive experience in information management, logic modeling, requirements gathering, and cloud data platforms.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (asset).
Experience with healthcare data (asset).
