Reporting to the Director of Data Architecture and Engineering, you’ll define and drive enterprise-wide technology strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks. This is a high-impact, fully remote role open to candidates across Canada.
🚀 What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Develop and oversee our enterprise architecture framework aligned with business goals.
Lead enterprise-wide architecture initiatives and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Establish and enforce architectural governance and vendor compliance processes.
Provide architectural oversight across multiple projects and business units.
Architecture Development & Implementation
Design scalable, enterprise-wide solutions that drive innovation and operational efficiency.
Lead the EA Review Board (EARB) and manage architectural exceptions.
Maintain accurate architecture documentation, diagrams, and decision logs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with C-suite and business leaders to translate needs into technology strategies.
Provide strategic consultation on IT investments, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Align IT strategies with enterprise goals and foster strong cross-functional partnerships.
Technology Trends & Innovation
Evaluate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Advocate for data, AI, and cloud strategies that support transformation and innovation.
Resource & Budget Management
Collaborate on budget allocation for key architectural initiatives.
Define skills, competencies, and lead the development of high-performing architecture teams.
✅ What You Bring
15+ years in IT, with a strong foundation in enterprise architecture, solution design, and infrastructure planning.
Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and strategic decision-making.
Deep experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and SAP (S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite).
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, ADM, etc.).
Strong grasp of data governance, ETL pipelines, MDM, real-time analytics, and data lake architectures.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP/CCSP, or equivalent are a strong asset.
