We are looking Senior Cisco DevOps ACI Engineer for a long-term engagement supporting a major North American transportation company. This is remote (within Canada) running through the end of 2025.
As a Cisco DevOps ACI Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between network engineering and automation — helping drive infrastructure modernization across a Cisco-powered data center environment.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing:
Automate Cisco ACI-based data center networking using Ansible and Python.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure deployments.
Collaborate with Lab and Network Engineers to deliver scalable, automated solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot deployment pipelines and automation scripts.
Maintain clear documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices.
✅ What You Bring:
5+ years in DevOps, network automation, or data center engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus Dashboard, and Data Center SDN technologies.
Strong proficiency with:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (especially Ansible)
CI/CD tools and pipeline management
Python scripting and REST API integrations
Linux systems administration (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu)
Git or similar version control systems
Solid grasp of networking concepts, particularly Cisco technologies.
Strong communication and documentation skills in a collaborative DevOps environment.
🎓 Bonus Points For:
Cisco DevNet Associate Certification (or higher)
Experience in large-scale data center transformation projects
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
