Capital Markets Business Analyst (Murex)

We’re Hiring: Capital Markets Business Analyst (Murex) | Hybrid |
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 1 day/week onsite)
Contract: 6 Months (with high likelihood of extension)

Are you a Capital Markets professional with strong hands-on Murex experience and a knack for solving real-time trading workflow issues?
Join GBME – Commodities, FX Options & Derivatives Technology team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing one of the most critical platforms used across trading, risk, and back-office functions.

What You’ll Do:
Provide real-time production support for the Murex FXO system (front-to-back).
Collaborate with traders, risk teams, back-office, and vendors to resolve issues and gather requirements.
Support day-to-day operations, triage tickets, and manage BAU enhancements.
Maintain and improve documentation, JIRA boards, and ServiceNow spaces.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ 6+ years as a BA or Support Analyst
✅ 3+ years of recent Capital Markets experience (front-to-back workflow exposure)
✅ Direct, hands-on Murex experience (UI/front end)
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate across teams
✅ Experience supporting capital markets users in a real-time, fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with FX/eFX/FX Options or Wallstreet Suite
SQL, Bash scripting, or ETL experience
Background in finance, engineering, or computer science
