Job Title: IT Project Manager (Part-time)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager (Part-time) to lead and support the ongoing execution of a major project. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who can quickly get up to speed to ensure project continuity and success. This is a remote position based in Victoria, BC, operating within the Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall project plan to ensure timely and successful delivery
Produce and maintain detailed status reports
Prepare and deliver presentations for executive stakeholders
Oversee the management of project issues, risks, decisions, and change requests
Coordinate cross-functional teams across business units and Information Services Division (ISD)
Support project-related communications and stakeholder engagement
Facilitate effective knowledge transfer across teams

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) in project management, including oversight of resources, risk, schedule, and scope
Proven track record in developing project work plans and charters
Experience mentoring and training team members, including knowledge transfer practices
Skilled in stakeholder communication documentation
Strong background in managing complex project budgets
Experience writing Capital Business Cases within a Government environment
