🚨 Hiring Now: Senior Data Analyst – Data Governance / Remediation (Contract) | Hybrid Downtown Toronto

🔍 We’re looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in data governance, metadata, and data quality to join Group Treasury Data Office on a long-term contract. This role is part of a high-impact Data Remediation Audit Program (DRAP) tied to regulatory compliance, with visibility across business and technology teams.
📍 Location: Hybrid (1 day/week onsite – Toronto)
📆 Contract Duration: ASAP – Oct 31, 2025 (Extension Possible)
⏱️ Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5 PM

🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Support strategic data remediation initiatives with a focus on audit readiness and compliance
Execute data mapping, lineage, quality rules, and metadata documentation
Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
Document and trace critical data elements (CDEs) through systems
Collaborate with tech and business teams to ensure data governance standards are applied
Present findings and status updates to executive leadership

✅ Must-Have Skills:
8–10+ years in data analytics / data management roles
Proficient in data governance tools (Collibra, IGC/Info Governance Console)
Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, metadata, lineage, data modeling
Experience building dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau
Familiarity with large-scale enterprise data environments

💡 Nice-to-Haves:
Background working with Treasury, Audit, or Banking systems (e.g., ALM6, GC)
Cloud data services knowledge (GCP, Azure, AWS)
Experience responding to 2nd/3rd line of defense or regulatory audits
Strong business acumen, organizational and communication skills
