Job Posting: Business Intelligence Specialist
Location: Hybrid, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Contract: 5+ years of PR in Canada or Canadian Citizen
Deadline: April 9th, 2025

Responsibilities:
Lead the conversion of BOEXI reports to Power BI (up to 900 reports for fiscal year 2025-26)
Support clients’ business information needs and implement BI software solutions
Develop customized query applications to analyze key business data
Support guided analysis, scheduling, notifications, and alert implementation
Conduct workshops and gather requirements for BI & Data Analytics initiatives
Perform data integration, cleansing, modeling, and analytics
Develop processes to fix corrupt data in source systems
Skills & Experience:
Expertise in data analysis, data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
Proficient in Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake
Experience designing visual dashboards, KPIs, and canned reports
Strong troubleshooting, analytical skills, and business process re-engineering
Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables
Knowledge of data modeling principles for data marts and warehouses
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively

Desirable:
Experience with data analysis applications and business process integration
Knowledge of AODA and related regulations
Experience with Power Designer and Visio for data modeling
Must-Haves:
Power BI expertise, including DAX formulas and custom visuals
Ability to create visually appealing reports and dashboards with great UI design
