About The Role

Reporting to the Director, Financial Services, the Contracts Buyer works with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, compile specifications and facilitate vendor selection for the purchase of various goods and services on behalf of Kinaxis. As the Contracts Buyer, you will be expected to collaborate, support and share information within, and across departments. As an exceptional collaborator and communicator, you will build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing value is delivered to Kinaxis through these contractual relationships.

What you will do

 

R equest quotes, and procur e goods and services for various departments such as IT hardware, marketing promotional materials, office furniture/supplies, f acilities products/services and other miscellaneous itemsEnsur e all p urchase orders follow the proper approval workflows , f iling/uploading invoices and approvals for audit purposes as requiredMaintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal customers/departments globally ( North America , Europe, and Asia )Manag e purchases to ensure delivery dates are metUse procurement software to place, amend and receive purchase ordersProcess returns to vendors as requiredResolve billing issues and purchasing discrepancies with vendorsSend renewal notices to departments as requiredWork with v endors on maintenance and contract renewals that may include price negotiations and updating terms and conditionsCorporate credit card reconciliationAd – hoc reportingOther duties as required

What we are looking for

 

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related fieldNISCL – CSCL Designation or equivalent is preferred1 to 3 years p rocurement experience, preferably in a SaaS company working with IT organizations procuring IT related equipment including managing supplier relations, and managing receipts of goodsUnderstanding and knowledge of IT Hardware technology such as servers, desktops, laptops, accessories, etc.General u nderstanding and knowledge of c ontractor and service agreements business termsKnowledge and experience using ERP systemsProficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to multitask and work in a fast – paced environment with changing prioritiesSuperior organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independentlyExcellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
