Job Title: Intermediate SharePoint Developer (Modern SharePoint)
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site, Downtown Toronto)
Contract Duration: Until March 31st, 2025 (with potential for extension)
Overview:
We are looking for an Intermediate SharePoint Developer with a strong background in SharePoint Modern (not Classic) to join a large investment fund client in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the SharePoint platform, managing permissions, and providing technical solutions to ensure optimal performance. This role offers a hybrid work model, with 2 days on-site per week in Toronto, allowing flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day SharePoint Maintenance:
Manage user permissions for SharePoint resources, ensuring proper access control.
Perform routine maintenance to keep the platform running smoothly and resolve issues.
Manage and support SharePoint infrastructure and troubleshoot errors.
SharePoint Design & Implementation:
Design and implement Microsoft SharePoint solutions based on client requirements.
Provide business and technical consulting to clients on SharePoint projects.
Develop and maintain documentation, including conceptual designs, as-built diagrams, and operational transition info.
Collaboration & Project Delivery:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Support the successful implementation of SharePoint projects from initiation to completion.
What You Bring:
Experience & Expertise:
6+ years of industry experience, specializing in the Microsoft technology stack.
5+ years of experience in SharePoint solutions design, configuration, and management (versions 2007, 2010, 2013, SharePoint Online).
5+ years of experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate).
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data compliance technologies.
Experience with Visual Studio, SharePoint Web Interface, and SharePoint Designer for custom solutions.
Proficiency with ShareGate for SharePoint migrations.
Collaborative & Technical Skills:
Experience delivering complex SharePoint solutions while collaborating with clients.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both internal teams and stakeholders.
