SAP Payroll Technical Solution Expert | Contract Position
Location: Hybrid (1-2x/week onsite in Toronto
Contract Duration: ASAP to 10/31/2025
Extension/FTE: Possible

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Payroll Technical Solution Expert for their Payroll, Time, Attendance & Compensation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering SAP Payroll solutions to the Canadian Payroll Portfolio, managing end-to-end technology services, and ensuring seamless system integration.
This is an exciting hybrid PM/BA/QA role that offers the opportunity to lead critical projects, engage with internal teams and external vendors, and troubleshoot complex HR technology challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end technology solutions for the SAP Payroll system (on-premise ECC/ECP).
Collaborate with the Payroll AMS Vendor and internal integration teams for solution delivery.
Oversee the design, development, configuration, and support of SAP Payroll.
Manage multiple small HR technology projects and/or specific sections of large projects.
Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) testing to ensure business requirements are met.
Support and execute testing for functionality and defects, working closely with business users.
Analyze complex business problems and create technology-driven solutions in an agile environment.
Ensure SAP Payroll solutions align with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI, PII, SOX).

Must-Have Skills:
8-10+ years in IT, with significant experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, and QA.
5+ years’ hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (on-premise ECC/ECP).
Expertise in HR business systems and technology integration.
Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with a focus on end-to-end ownership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to Have:
Experience with Employee Central replication to SAP Payroll.
SAP HCM certification is a plus.
