Recruitment Sourcer – 6 Month Contract

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is looking to hire a Recruitment Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team in Vancouver for a 6-month contract. This role will play a crucial part in identifying and attracting top talent. In this role you will work closely with our Recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find untapped candidates.

Key Responsibilities

 

Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including LinkedIn, professional networks, job boards, and industry-specific events, to identify and engage potential candidates.Conduct in depth market research to identify potential candidates and create talent mapsConduct advanced Boolean searches to explore the educational backgrounds, previous employers, and job titles of current employees to inform sourcing strategies.Attend networking events, career fairs, and university outreach programs to connect with prospective candidates.Build and maintain a robust pipeline of talent for current and future openings

Candidate Engagement

 

Initiate contact with potential candidates through various channels, including phone, email, and social media.Develop and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates for current and future opportunities.

Research and Market Intelligence

 

Analyze industry trends, company structures, and competitive landscapes to inform recruitment strategies.Create detailed organizational charts for target companies to identify potential candidates and understand reporting structures.Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to support talent acquisition effortsStay updated on industry news, hiring trends, and best practices in talent acquisition.

Data Analysis and Reporting

 

Generate regular reports on sourcing activities, pipeline status, and market trends.Identify patterns and trends in the recruitment process to inform strategy improvements.Utilize data and metrics to track the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, make data-informed decisions, and continuously improve the sourcing process.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and emerging talent pools to ensure our sourcing strategies remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications

 

4+ years of experience in recruitment sourcing, preferably in the financial services and executive searchDemonstrated knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search methodsProficiency in using applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office and other sourcing toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insightsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
