Background: Our valued public sector clients require the services of a Top Secret cleared, Senior Network Analyst. Our clients are administering a project to improve elements of their information management framework, and network. The chosen candidate will be responsible for support of the new network design and implementation activities.

Qualifications:

10 years of experience as a Network Analyst in medium – large networking environments (Over 500 Network Nodes)10 years experience in design and development work on network integration projectsUniversity degree or college diploma in IM/IT related studiesExperience with Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, IPN and Applications IntegrationExperience designing, or implementing a network security device or systemOne or more of the following certifications: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDA, JNCIE-ENT: Juniper Networks, Certified Enterprise Routing Switching Expert, CompTIA Network+, WCNA, CCSI, CSSP, CCIP

Responsibilities/Deliverables:

Design, implement, maintain and configure network equipment and components;Plan the integration of networks, provide network analysis, and maintain network operations as required;Provide technical support for networks and network-related activities. Work with vendor representatives and other computing resources to resolve hardware and software problems;Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations;Maintain network security and implement disaster recovery procedures;Install or coordinate installation of network hardware and software as well as network upgrades according to vendor instructions;Maintain accurate records and logs of equipment serial numbers, service records, maintenance agreements and warranties, wiring schemes and network problems and solutions.Design network implementation plans for specific technologies;Analyse system and network capacity and performance to recommend modifications for improved efficiency and cost effectiveness.Brief technical details to project team; andLiaise with technical staff from related projects, client groups, other government department (OGD), and external partners to determine and coordinate the technical and interface requirements, and to ensure solution integrity, interface compatibility, performance, reliability and maintainability;Administer, document, and maintain Nutanix Software defined networking, and Nutanix Hyper converged infrastructure,Perform other related services as requested by the Technical Authority
