Now Hiring: IT Architect III (Data Modeler III) – Contract Opportunity | Toronto, ON

We’re looking for an experienced Data Modeling Specialist to join a Global Data Technology team as an IT Architect III (Data Modeler III). This is an exciting opportunity to help shape enterprise data architecture and establish the foundation for AI deployment across a large-scale, innovative organization.

📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
🕓 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hrs/week (9–5 or 8–4)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Duration: Until April 10, 2026 (potential for extension)
💰 Pay Rate: $100–$115 CAD/hour

Eligibility: This position is open only to candidates who currently reside in Canada.

What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business and data strategies.
Design and refine reusable data patterns and reference architectures using the Azure product suite.
Conduct data profiling and ensure data quality, governance, and scalability.
Maintain a centralized repository of data architecture documentation and standards.

What We’re Looking For
✅ 8+ years’ experience in data architecture or modeling, ideally within financial or insurance industries.
✅ Proven hands-on experience with Azure data technologies.
✅ Strong understanding of data governance, integration, and modeling best practices.
✅ Skilled with tools like ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar; strong SQL proficiency.
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:
ITILv3 certification
Experience in big data, data warehousing, or AI-driven solutions
