Role:- Azure DevOps Architect
Location: 3 days on site Toronto
Duration: 6 months +

Azure AKS and DevOps engineer
• 3-5 years of relevant experience working on Azure Cloud Infrastructure services
• 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineers
• 2-3 years of Infrastructure automation experience using Terraform
• Experience working at enterprise level organizations.
• 2-3 years of experience working with AKS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and declarative management tools (Jenkins, Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Experience with RBAC, security context constraints, and platform security best practices.

Skills and experiences
• Strong expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, Terraform, and Bicep (nice to have).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, particularly Azure DevOps and YAML Pipelines.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in the cloud.
• Experience with cloud transformation and migration solutions, infrastructure solutions, networking, data center operations, platform migration.
• Consulting focused on infrastructure modernization and migration to Azure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Infrastructure migration or data center migration.
• Cloud automation and security.
• Application modernization and containers.
• Operation management, systems security, testing, databases, and mobility considerations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Experience working with global and offshore teams on projects.
• Advanced skills and experience in application lifecycle management, agile development methods, and software planning.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent technical documentation skills utilizing Word, Excel, Visio, and PPT.
• Willingness to support weekend migration cutovers (up to 1 weekend per month).
• Familiarity with M&A integration processes in insurance or financial services (nice to have).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
