Eligibility: Must have 3+ years of Permanent Residency (PR) or Canadian Citizenship
Scope of the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Application Analyst – Junior to join our client team. This role reports to the Manager of Technology and is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and creating reports for the Enterprise Database Archival Service on the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP Public Cloud).
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with end-users and IT teams to ensure smooth usage and effective application of the platform. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, provide analysis, and recommend process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP Public Cloud) and its applications.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems related to the platform.
Collaborate with end-users and IT teams to ensure the successful use of the platform.
Generate reports, analyze data, and provide insights to improve business processes.
Conduct risk analysis and highlight business impacts, dependencies, and interdependencies.
Assist in system maintenance, including CDP Public Cloud upgrades and patching.
Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure applications align with business objectives.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Work Experience:
1+ years experience using Big Data platforms like Cloudera Data Platform (CDP Public Cloud).
1+ year experience with Azure Infrastructure and Services.
1+ years experience with Big Data and Business Intelligence.
1+ year experience in CDP Public Cloud upgrades, patching, and system maintenance.
1+ year experience with Data Warehousing and Reporting Tools.
1+ years experience working with Kubernetes Clusters and Linux OS.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in User Acceptance Testing planning and monitoring.
1+ years experience with Azure subscriptions and cost analysis.
1+ years experience in dashboard and report development.
