Main responsibilities include:
Develop an executive strategy for the finance function, including the accounting, finance and audit functionsEstablish profitability standards, departmental controls, financial forecasting, departmental budgets and cost centersDevelop and implement financial policies, systems, standards and procedures and make recommendations for any needed changesLead the annual financial planning and quarterly review processManage capital asset acquisitions, cash flow and cash managementImplement internal controls for financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsPrepare detailed financial reports and report any discrepancies to the CFOHire, train and supervise financial management staff

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
CPA designationMinimum 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experienceExperience in SaaS or a start-up environment considered a strong assetFluently bilingual (French/English) considered a strong asset
Compensation:
$200,000 – $240,000 annual salary rangeFlexible, fully remote work scheduleGenerous vacationExcellent benefits package
